About us

The three co-founders of d-teach online school: Lieselot Declercq, Annabel Declercq and Koen Verlaeckt

In 2012, Lieselot Declercq and Annabel Declercq founded d-teach as student entrepreneurs studying educational sciences. Both are teachers and educational specialists, with experience in primary and secondary education respectively. Their aim: to make high-quality education more inclusive and accessible to every learner, wherever they live.

Belgium’s first online school, d-teach became an international not-for-profit organisation in 2020, with co-founder Koen Verlaeckt. Today, we are a growing online school with expertise in digital pedagogy and e-learning.
