Own research on roles of the online synchronous teacher

“How to teach interactively in an online synchronous environment?” This is the question d-teacher and researcher Maaike Grammens is investigating in the framework of her doctoral research in collaboration with Ghent University and thanks to the support of Vlaio. Based on an extensive study of online teaching, she examined what competences each online synchronous teacher needs in order to give a qualitative and interactive online lesson.
